OUR/KIN/SAW is a photography project by Arlton Lowry
Arlton is a resident of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born and raised in the rural northeast corner of the State, flanked by cotton fields down gravel roads. He enjoys traveling Arkansas and documenting the various structures, people, cultures and customs of it's towns and citizens through his lens.
The name OUR/KIN/SAW is a play on the word ARKANSAS. It's pronounced similarly to how the State is pronounced: OUR-KIN-SAW. It's meant to encompass the intention behind Arlton's photography: to document what the people (kin) of Arkansas have seen, built and experienced throughout the years.
Outside of photography, Arlton is the Founding Partner and Chief Creative Officer at Few, an award-winning multimillion-dollar digital product agency headquartered in Little Rock that has collaborated with prominent brands such as Cars.com, General Electric, IBM, Tyson and Walmart. Few focuses on product strategy, UX/UI design, mobile and web applications. Over the past 10 years since founding Few, Arlton has played an integral role in building and advising several startups and has shared his expertise by teaching web design at UA Little Rock. He has a strong community-focused mindset and serves on the board of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, the SoMa 501 and the UA Little Rock Alumni Association non-profits. He is the Chair of the DLRP Public Spaces Committee, the Chair of the SoMa 501 Design Committee and is a graduate of UA Little Rock.
